Johannes Baumgart is a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems in the group of Frank Jülicher. A mechanical engineer by training, my interests lie at the interface of physics and biology. Currently, I am working mainly on the mechanics of the mitotic spindle in collaboration with experimentalists. In particular, we work on the question: what sets the size and shape of the spindle? You are invited to learn more about my current work, my research, and about me. Please feel free to contact me by email: ed.gp1519176468m.skp1519176468@trag1519176468muab1519176468.
