Private wealth is growing in Germany

The figures of the Federal Statistical Office show growing average values for the net wealth of private households. The increase of around a third nationwide within five years is not irrelevant. In particular, for the new federal states and Berlin has the wealth relatively increased. In the meantime, these amount to almost half of the average value of the early federal territory.

The natural upper limit for the net wealth of private households is now around 1.4 million euros nationwide, for the former federal territory 1.6 million euros, and 0.8 million euros for the new federal states and Berlin.
